The Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society awarded Robert (“Whitey”) Doherty, K1VV, and Don Tanguay, N1DT (SK) collectively known as “The Cape Crusaders” with the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of their significant achievements over the years and for giving Light beacon enthusiasts many activations in the Northeast / New England region.
