  • Usually tours a NE section, has toured RI, SE MA, CT, WMA, EMA, and VT in the past.
    Typically operating as K1KI/m in class 1-C

  • Formerly toured the EMA and adjacent sections in W1-land, but lately has been in K7-land on FD. :-(

  • Formerly toured as SM EMA and as EMA ACC

  • 2010 Return to touring expected.

    [Original] rough plan: start first thing Saturday morning on Cape Cod with Barnstable/Ptown, work my way to Falmouth, then up and over to some of the South Shore groups, and eventually towards town.

    Sunday morning, I'm thinking of starting in Gloucester and working my way towards the Merrimack Valley, then metro west.

    So, I hit 11 active sites for a total of 321 miles. I'll try and post a soapbox section to accompany all my photos, too.

    Thanks again, the site is better than ever - world class! [Quote me!]

    My plans: For the past four years, I have been juggling the 2 day MS Cape Cod Ride and FD touring. I will be finished with my Saturday assignment in Cohasset about 1200. I then plan to go counterclockwise and north to sites on the south and north shores (perhaps CAAA as well), then west to PART and then to southern section sites before going to the Cape sites in the late evening. Overnight in Orleans.

    Sunday I am tied up all day in Brewster supporting the MSS CCR event.

  • Usually operates at or Acushnet EOC, or handles SKYWARN issues at NWS BOX, with touring as available.

    On Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Morning, I spent time at the SEMARA Club for Field Day. On Saturday Evening, I spent time at SEMARG in Swansea and closed out Field Day at Roland-N1JOY's Field Day site.

      [Plans uncertain] because of the potential for weather on Field Day and the possibility for ops at NWS. If this is not needed, I am going to try to visit the Whitman club's Field Day site at the East Bridgewater YMCA on Rte 106.

    • Usually tours. Has previously camped with Boston ARC.

      I plan on visiting all the Norfolk county sites ( BEMA/K1USN Quincy, Clay+WARA64 Brookline, MVARG Milton, NARC Wrentham, WARS & Needham at Needham War Gazebo ), the Sturdy Memorial Hospital ARC and maybe the Mansfield RACES.

      I planned a theme tour to visit all Gazebo and Orchard sites, and that's what I did.

      Next year, someone remind me to do Scituate NOT first thing when the laggards are on Rt.3 Capewards but on the overnight!

      The pavillion MIT used is eight-legged but square, but close enough to count as a gazebo: a permanent roof over a small open air picnic / entertainment nook.
