  Yesterday upon re-entering Eastern MA, I expended considerable time and effort attempting to reach the Algonquin ARC on Crow Island. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. My GPS betrayed me. It kept dumping me on a dead-end street in a subdivision.

5. Police Amateur Radio Team (PART) of Westford at The Concord Rod & Gun Club in Concord
  
  They had a very busy and organized setup as usual. The PART folks served me a wonderful meal.
6. New England Sci-Tech Amateur Radio Society & New England Amateur Radio, Inc. (NEAR) at New England Sci-Tech in Natick
  As always, there were lots of youth running around having a great time--both operating radios for Field Day and playing with the Center's other equipment. W0MXX's father pulled me aside and showed me what his 12 year old son had constructed: a rubik's-cube sized model of an electronic experiment designed to capture kinetic energy in low-gravity. The package flew in the nose cone of a rocket launched from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia just days earlier. When I was young Max's age I was riding my bicycle and throwing rocks in the creek!
7. Wellesley ARS at Needham War Memorial Park Gazebo
  got a firsthand look at the innovative LoRA network on 900 MHz that several of its club members are working on. They had a working node at Field Day that was making multiple "hops" to sites several miles distant.

  The view of the ocean was "absolutely gorgeous" but the sea-breeze was even better.
  
  I had a nice visit with the two YLs from the KM1CC Marconi historic radio club, Barbara N1NS and _____, and a retired Navy radioman/ham, Ken, who were both interested in the WW2 Army history of the site as well as USAF radar research initial re-use (prior to becoming USAF/DoD recreation area).
  
  Ken and I had a short chat with a USAF cargo pilot who has enjoyed chats with MARS stations from his cargo plane.
  
  My annual ARRL FD visit is also my annual Coast Defense Study Group site preservation visit. (I have more information on Air & Coast Defense sites sometimes active in Field Day.)

Sometimes operates at Acushnet EOC, or handles SKYWARN issues at NWS BOX, with touring as available.
2012 - Operated WX1BOX in Class F between SKYWARN actications at NWS BOX.

Usually operates at FARA (Falmouth) &/or with Barnstable.

Visiting Falmouth FARA Inc operations trailer at Falmouth Morse Pond School, and Barnstable ARC, 3A, with Potluck dinner at Brewster Sportsman's Club.

- "Barnstable ARC BrewSC Brewster Sportsman's Club"
  The Barnstable ARC had their field day at the Brewster Sportsman's Club in Brewster on Cape Cod. They had a nice setup inside with several HF rigs and other good gear. Generator was nice, portable and quiet. Nice tower setup outside. As the ARES DEC, it was good to see the club folks in person again.
- "Falmouth ARA Inc at Falmouth Morse Pond School"
  It was great to visit the Falmouth ARA Field Day on Saturday as the ARES DEC here on Cape Cod. I was shown the very nice and capable Emcomm trailer that was built by the club. It was excellently configured and designed. Hats off to Ralph Swenson, N1YHS, and the others in the club who helped bring this project to life. From power distribution, to the great rigs inside, it was really nice to see. Field day looked great and very portable! Great job down there, folks
