Peter Mattice, KD2JKV

I was licensed in 2015 and upgraded to General in January of 2016. I started as back up NCS on Cycle 2 of the Western Mass Traffic Net. I learned about NTS on the Capitol District Traffic Net. I was appointed First Region liaison to WMTN in 2016. I was appointed Net Manager of Cycle 1 WMTN in 2017 and appointed ASTM in 2018 where I am still serving. I have been in radio for over 30 years.

I was a member of Albany County REACT on ch. 9 on CB radio. I also had a job as a dispatcher at AAA in Albany, NY. I am a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team as well as one of the “Force of 50” that were deployed for Hurricane Maria.

Outside of my ASTM duties I also perform public service like the pumpkin patrol and the fall foliage parade. I also have an Adopt-a-Highway spot.
