Here are the stats for November. I’m happy to report that thanks to members of the Boston Amateur Radio Club the 145.23 repeater is back near coverage of pre-antenna damage days. Many thanks to those guys who braved the heights and weather to raise the new antenna. We are now able to move the EM2MN solely to the Boston repeater and it has made a noticeable difference in net participation. It is good to see some of the old regulars returning.
I’m also happy to report that Bob Holland N1SYC has agreed to assume managership of EM2MN effective December 1 2013. We thank John Campbell KB1ENV for his service to the net, and hope in time he will find some time to join us again. We thank Bob, and I’m sure you will give him your support.
Packet traffic is moving again. We had some problems with nodes making it difficult to pass traffic between KW1U and N1XTB-4, but many thanks to Jim W1JT who has made his node accessible for our use. Anyone interested in NTSDigital can get in touch with me (KW1U) for information.
The CW net (MARI) has been doing well. I’m considering increasing from 5 to 7 nights a week. Hopefully this will allow some others to participate. We have outlets on this net for Central and Western Mass as well as East Mass, so do come join us. For information or help with CW let me know.
