The establishment of an internet gateway/ remote base in Iraq using the callsign YI9DXX is a step closer now, according to Easton amateur Keith Lamonica, W7DXX.
Lamonica reports delivery of the remote base equipment to Baghdad is “scheduled to arrive this Friday or Monday.”
