ICS-100 Training At Boxboro

We’re in the final stages of coordinating an ICS-100 training at the ARRL Convention in Boxboro this summer. We’re planning the eight hour class on the Friday of the event August 22. Check out the web site at http://www.boxboro.org

I want to get this notice out for this group, since the ICS-100 training class will be given by a MEMA instructor, and give the person taking the class and taking the exam an ICS-100 certification. As a result MEMA will be putting this class on their training site, where anyone can sign up and take it. When I learn that it’s up there, I’ll update this area to sign up for it. In the mean time you can start your Boxboro planning! I’d like almost all of the group to be Hams involved
in emergency management, if possible.

MEMA’s training web site can be reached at: http://www.mass.gov/mema and click on the “Training Registration System” link on the right side of the page.
