ARES SEC Forum At Boxboro 2006

ARES SECs from Southern New England Present at Boxboro

ARES leadership from Eastern Massachusetts, Western Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut gave presentations on their respective ARES programs at the 2006 Boxboro ARRL New England Division Convention. The presentation was given to a packed conference room of interested Emergency Communicators across the New England ARRL Division.

The presentations were very well received. Several dignitaries from the ARRL were present including Steve Ewald-WV1X from ARRL Headquarters, Greg Sarratt-W4OZK, Alabama Section Manager and NERPC Committee member, Bob Brown-W4YFJ, Vermont ARES Section Emergency Coordinator, and Betsey Doane-K1EIC, Connecticut Section Manager. The ARES leadership from the various sections presented overviews of their programs and accomplishments over the past 2 years since the last Boxboro and what their vision is for the future of their programs.

The following are the Power Point presentations that were presented at the SEC Forum. Please note that with the exception of the Western Mass. ARES Boxboro presentation, which is under 200K in file size, the size of the files are between 4-7 Megabytes. Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, it may be best to save the file to your local computer in order to view it. When you click on one of the presentation links, a box will appear asking you to either open the file or save it on to your local computer and you can either open the file on the web site or save it to your local computer and open the file from the location you saved it on your computer.
