Additional Information:

Steve is the DEC for Middlesex County west of Route 128.

Steve is an experienced veteran of field operations and numerous public service events ranging from the Boston Marathon, Walk for Hunger, and Head of the Charles to local races, parades, and benefits.  He is a SKYWARN spotter and RACES Radio Officer in Concord. 

 

He is an instructor and examiner for ARRL Emergency Communications courses and has completed numerous FEMA and National Fire Academy courses including ICS, NIMS, and Response to Terrorism.  Most recently he completed the classroom segment required for the federal Type III Communications Unit Leader (COML) certification.

 

Steve is currently a Deputy Director of the Concord Emergency Management Agency and has been a firefighter and EMT.  He is an officer of MMRA and a member of PART of Westford and the Colonial Wireless Association. 

 

His other interests include celestial navigation and sailing schooners for which he holds a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard license.
