Biogpraphical Information:
Mike Neilsen-W1MPN has been a significant contributor to the Eastern Massachusetts section for the past 15 years. Mike-W1MPN joined Eastern Massachusetts ARES in 1999 and became Section Emergency Coordinator in 2001 and remained in that position until 2005 and then became the Eastern Massachusetts ARRL Section Manager from 2005-2006. Mike then was an advisor to Eastern Massachusetts ARES and the NWS Taunton SKYWARN porgram from 2007-2008 becore becoming Eastern Massachusetts ARRL Section Manager from 2009-2010. Mike then resumed being a special advisor to Eastern Massachusetts ARES and the NWS Taunton SKYWARN program from January 2011-mid-July 2014. On July 21st, 2014, Mike was reappointed as Eastern Massachusetts ARES Section Emergency Coordinator as Rob-KD1CY stepped down from that position due to his professional work commitments. Mike is a tremendously experienced emergency communicator and leader within the Eastern Massachusetts section.
