Clay Center ARC Hosts 2018 BAA Marathon Net Control
More than thirty-five amateur radio operators took over the Clay Center 5th floor to run a communications center for the Boston Marathon on April 16, 2018. Participants included Clay Center ARC members: Rishi, KC1BKX; Marty, KC1CWF; Sean, W1SYT; Edward, KC1HWK; Kevork, KB1ZAW; Bruce, N9JBT and Bob, K5TEC. Also helping was Mike Corey, KI1U, ARRL Emergency Response Coordinator.


SKYWARN training teaches you how to spot and report severe weather conditions for the National Weather Service. Training will be provided on Tuesday evening, April 25, at the Clay Center by lead trainer Rob Macedo, KD1CY. All adults welcome, as well as youth who are scouts or ham radio operators. Space is limited. You must plan to stay from 6:30-9:00 to be certified. Register with
