Summer is almost here and with the lifting of Covid restrictions I am sure many folks will be packing up and taking off for much anticipated vacations. Your STM is one of those, looking forward to visiting family not seen for well over a year.

One of the summer activities I mentioned last month was the possibility of a traditional traffic handlers picnic which we unfortunately missed out on last year. I received a positive response so am planning a picnic at 44 Raymond Road in Concord on Sunday August 1 at 12:00 noon. As we have done in the past hamburgers, hot dogs and sausages will be provided. Feel free to bring anything to share although this is not required. Bring your beverage of choice, and I suggest bringing a chair to sit on as I have a limited supply and not sure I can find those in a well packed garage. I will put a notice on the website as we get closer and send out an email to those on my monthly traffic report list. If you plan to come it would be helpful to have a head count so do let me hear from you. We’ve had good times in the past as it is fun to actually meet those we talk to on the nets.
