The Boston Amateur Radio Club recently received notice from ARRL that its Special Service Club (SSC) designation has been renewed for another two years. Exceptional clubs like the BARC meet the highest standards of Amateur Radio in areas such as new ham development and training, public relations, emergency communications, school club support, technical advancement, operating activities, annual reports, etc.
The Boston ARC was founded in 1988; they have been designated a Special Service Club for most of that time.
