The Radio Operators for Missing Children (KB1HGK) will host an operating event at the USS Massachusetts at Battleship Cove in Fall River, MA on May 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
According to the Radio Operators for Missing Children, members of the Central MA Amateur Radio Association will operate three CW stations using World War II vintage radios. Other activities will include: fingerprinting and IDs by Child Safety Education of America, and a presentation by the family of missing child Jennifer Fay. Any child operating a radio will receive a guest operator patch and special event certificate.
