The Cape Ann Amateur Radio Association successfully secured a new lease for its club house located at 6 Stanwood Street in Gloucester. (See “Cape Ann ARA Seeks New Lease on Club house“.) According to club president Charlie Anderson, WI1U, “We’re happy to report CAARA has a new lease for the building from the City… Our response to the Request for Proposal was accepted by the City with a request for an additional Insurance document, which was completed a few days ago. I am now just waiting for a final copy of the document.”
Anderson adds that the lease terms are identical to CAARA’s previous lease. The City charges CAARA an nominal fee of $1.00 per year.
