HWC Garners Publicity in The Harvard Crimson

Harvard Wireless Club official shieldThe Harvard Wireless Club was the subject of an article and accompanying photo in the on-line edition of The Harvard Crimson campus newspaper.

Pictured is Clayton M. Nall, NF1R, a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and W1AF station manager.

The article covers some of the early history of the Harvard Wireless Club, including radio experimenter Professor George Washington Pierce. In addition, it describes the pioneering SETI efforts of Prof. Paul Horowitz, W1HFA. Also quoted in the article is New England Division Director Tom Frenaye, K1KI.
