Several Eastern MA amateurs are operating from exotic locations in this weekend’s CQ World Wide phone contest. They include:
* Scott Andersen, NE1RD, who is currently on St. Kitts I. operating as V4/NE1RD. He’s been heard and worked by members of the Police Amateur Radio Team on 15 meters.
* Fred Hopengarten, K1VR, who emailed members of the Harvard Wireless Club on their reflector to say that he is QRV from Oahu at multi-multi station KH7X.
