With the beginning of Daylight Savings Time, March 8, the First Region Net Cycle 2 now meets on 3950 kHz at 1445 and 1615 local time. This is to accommodate the Eastern Area Net which now meets at 1530 local time on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and at 1515 local time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The EAN time change allows for more favorable propagation on 40 meters. EAN meets on 7243 kHz.
