ARRL Eastern Massachusetts Section Emergency Coordinator Rob Macedo, KD1CY, helped lead operations at WX1BOX, the Amateur Radio station at the National Weather Service office in Taunton, Massachusetts, where hams were active for 28 continuous hours.”
Dean Burgess, KB1PGH writes on the Cape Ann ARA mailing list:
A Massachusetts-Rhode Island CW traffic net will begin operations soon at 7 PM ET for five evenings per week, according to MA STM Marcia Forde, KW1U. [
Several Eastern MA stations, including the Taunton SKYWARN ARC (WX1BOX) and the Boston ARC (W1BOS) will be active in SKYWARN Recognition Day 2012 on November 30-December 1. [
